In this fourth book in the Dark Angels series, Risa seems to be losing a bit of her perceptiveness. She's still tough, to a fault, but too often she opts for stubbornness over common sense. I've patiently waited through four books for progress to be made with the keys and with Risa's relationship with Azriel. While this book does not move these developments forward, there's plenty of gory action and steamy chemistry. This is my thirteenth KA book and the first I've rated below 5 stars, but the series remains on my Favorite Books list as I await the next installment.
