Following Julianna's spotlighted virginity and the lead up to sex in the first book, Reynard made a kind of promise. I was anxious about this when I started this book. My adoration and sympathy for these characters demanded a happy ending. But I trusted Reynard, and Christ, he didn't disappoint. He wrote this one with the same passionate, emotional, and brilliant language as the first. And yes, I got my happy ending. Still, is it too much to ask for a third book?
