As the seventh and last book in the Nature of Desire series, this is a more psychological than physical portrayal of BDSM, and no one tackles the emotion behind it better than Joey Hill. The story does a brilliant job at expressing the multiple facets and complexity of the lifestyle, as misunderstood as it is. Ms. Hill says it best in this book: A million people mean a million different religions. The H/h romance is sweeter than her usual style, and I especially enjoyed the connection to the characters from previous books in this series. I'm sad to see this series end.
