The second book in the One Night With Sole Regret series is a longer novella than the first one. That was a nice surprise, but despite the length, it lacked the suspense and conflict I enjoy in Cunning's Sinners on Tour series. I suspect the antagonism is limited because these books are set in the span of one night only. Another disappointment is the characters in this series are duplicates of the characters in her Sinners series. This series doesn't offer anything new or different from the other one. Makes me question why she doesn't just finish Sinners before starting this one. Still, I devoured this book and will continue to consume anything Cunning releases. She knows her craft. Her characters are delicious, and the rockstar-groupie world she portrays has a severe hold on my attention.
