In a world of bare-knuckled bad boys, sweet-butts, and old ladies, Horse lives for his patch, his bike, and--as the story unfolds--his woman. He's amusing and passionate, and of course, heroic at the end, but there's not really anything extraordinary that makes him stand out amongst the long list of growing alpha male characters who pander to the erotic book culture. JW is not breaking new ground with Reaper's Property, merely toning down the muscled, leather-bound hero/anti-hero found in Madeline Sheehan's Undeniable and many of Kristen Ashley's series'. But this plot has plenty of action and suspense, and thankfully, the heroine isn't the naive virgin found in so many of these stories. And hallelujah, there's enough sexy scenes to satiate a randy motorcycle club.In summary, this book will give you exactly what you expect. Emotive moments spotlight and romanticize the brutal landscape of the Reapers' priapic life through the development of a love story. Great writing. No dragged out scenes. Adults only.
